The economic impact of corrosion to individual industries varies. In developed nations corrosion is thought to cost between 2% and 4% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

It is a matter of experience that a great deal of this cost arises out of the failure to apply existing corrosion control know-how. This emphasises the benefit our training courses in corrosion and corrosion management.

Our course “Corrosion Management in the Oil and Gas Production” is recognised by the Institute of Corrosion. It is presented annually in the UK in collaboration with Sheffield Testing Laboratories (see “Links”).

In addition, we can provide training programmes that are flexibly tailored to the specific requirements of the client. These can be presented in our UK training facility or at the client’s premises (world-wide).

Previous tailor-made programmes have covered: basic corrosion, cathodic protection (for engineers), cathodic protection (for technicians), protective coatings, corrosion inhibition and monitoring.

Courses have been presented in:

  • UK
  • USA
  • UAE
  • Qatar
  • Kuwait
  • Kazakhstan
